Privacy policy
This policy covers the personal information Obur Fusion Street Food Ltd ("OBUR", "we") handles when you order on this website. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, the federal PIPEDA.
Who is responsible
Obur Fusion Street Food Ltd, Vancouver, BC. Privacy questions and access requests: info@oburfusion.ca.
What this website keeps
This website shows our menu and sends you to our ordering page. It has no cart and no customer accounts, and it does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Catering requests
When you send the catering form, we receive your name, email, phone number (if you add it) and your message. FormSubmit delivers the form to our inbox by email, and we keep a copy on Cloudflare for 180 days so no request gets lost. We use these details only to reply about your event.
What Square collects when you order
Our ordering page and checkout are run by Square. Square collects your name, phone number, email address and payment details so it can take the payment, send your receipt and pass the order to our kitchen. Your card number goes to Square and never reaches OBUR. We see the order, your name and contact details, and the payment status in our Square account. Square's own privacy notice also applies: squareup.com/ca/en/legal/general/privacy.
How we use it
We use your details to prepare your order, contact you if something changes, and keep the sales records the law requires. We do not send marketing email unless you sign up for it separately, and we do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We share information only with the companies that run ordering for us: Square (payments and orders), Cloudflare (website hosting) and FormSubmit (catering form email). Delivery orders placed through Uber Eats, DoorDash or Fantuan fall under those apps' own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, how we use it and who we shared it with, and ask us to correct it. Write to info@oburfusion.ca. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
